Switching profiles and adding a new one

To change profiles, open the menu and tap Switch Role. Tap a profile you have, and the app switches at once. To add a profile you do not have yet, tap the one marked Create.

You do not need to sign out. You do not need a new email or password.

How do I switch to another profile?

1. Tap Menu.
2. Tap Switch Role under your name.
3. Tap the profile you want to use.

Profiles you have show their @handle. A kind you do not have yet says Create.

What changes when I switch?

• The Account screen shows the new profile’s picture and @handle.
• The first settings tab changes to that profile, like Boutique Settings.
• The middle button of the bottom bar changes to Sell, Post or POS.

Nothing is lost. You can switch back with one tap.

How do I add a new profile?

1. Tap Menu.
2. Tap Switch Role under your name.
3. Tap the row marked Create.
4. Read the card, then tap Continue. Tap Cancel to stop.
5. Tap on the circle to add a profile picture. This is optional.
6. Type a Display Name.
7. Type a Profile Name. This is your @handle.
8. Type My Bio.
9. Tap Finish.

After Finish, the app switches you into the new profile and opens the Account screen. Nothing is made before you tap Finish. If you go back, nothing is left behind.

What are the rules for the names?

• Profile Name is needed. It has 8 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. The app shows Available or Taken. Try another.
• Display Name can be up to 30 characters.
• My Bio can be up to 160 characters and 4 lines.
• You can add a banner later in Edit Profile. See Editing your profile picture, banner, name and bio.

Why is Finish grey?

Your Profile Name must be at least 8 characters and show Available.

Does a new profile need a new login or setup?

No. A new profile uses the same email, user ID and password. It already has your Wallet, delivery addresses, return policy and ship-from address, because they belong to your account.

Can I have two profiles of the same kind?

No. You can hold one of each kind. Switch Role only shows Create for the kinds you do not have yet.
