Choosing which notifications you get

Switch groups of notifications on or off in Global Settings. The switches decide what reaches your phone and your email. Everything still shows on your Notifications screen either way.

How do I change my notification settings?

1. Tap Menu.
2. Tap Global Settings.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Turn a switch on or off.

Each switch saves as soon as you tap it. If it cannot save, the switch flips back and an error message shows.

What does each switch do?

• Selling: sales, shipping and returns.
• Buying: your orders and deliveries.
• Bookings: appointments and reminders.
• Money: payouts and your balance.
• Messages: new messages. New chat messages do not send phone alerts or emails, so this switch has no effect.
• Reviews: reviews of your products and services.
• Socials: new followers, likes and saves of your items.
• Price drops: on items you saved and liked.
• News from us: offers, features and seasonal picks. This one is off until you turn it on. The others start on.

Under the switches, Account and security says Always on. It covers sign-in alerts and changes to your account. You cannot turn it off.

Which notifications always come through?

Urgent ones reach you even when a switch is off. The screen tells you so:

• Selling: an order waiting to ship and a return to approve still come through.
• Bookings: reminders still come through.
• Money: a failed payout still comes through.

Does turning a switch off hide the notification in the app?

No. The switches control phone alerts and notification emails. The notification still shows on the Notifications screen.

What happens if I turn Selling off?

If you sell, a Turn selling notifications back on row is added to Need your attention. Tapping it brings you back to this screen.

Can my Bestie and my Boutique have different settings?

No. There is one set of switches for your whole account.

How do I stop all phone alerts?

Use your phone’s own settings. See Turning phone notifications on or off. The switches in the app cannot turn off urgent alerts or account and security notices.
