Finding a service near you

Open the Services tab to find beauty and wellness shops near you. You can search, browse by category, or open a map. Anyone can look. You need an account to book.

How do I search for a service?

1. Tap the Services tab.
2. Tap the Search services bar at the top.
3. Type a service or a shop name.
4. Tap a result.

Results come in two groups: Shops, then Services. Tap All, Shops or Services to choose what you see. You can sort by Nearest, Top rated or Best offers. A service result shows its photo, its shop, the distance and its price. The price reads From and an amount when the service has more than one option.

This search covers services and shops only. It does not search products or pre-loved items.

What can I browse on the Services tab?

• Categories. Tap a category tile to see the shops that offer it. Inside a category you can pick a narrower type.
• Shop rows. These can include Near you, Special offers, New on XO Bestie, Top rated, Recently viewed, Book again and Discover more. A row only appears when it has shops. Discover more has a Load more button.
• Shop cards. Tap a card to open the shop. A card shows the shop’s name, photo, city and distance. It shows a star rating once the shop has reviews.

A pill on a card shows a sale. It reads 10% off for one offer, or Up to 10% off when the shop has several. (The number changes with the shop.)

How do I use the map?

1. On the Services tab, tap Map.
2. Move and zoom the map.
3. Tap a pin to see that shop’s card.
4. Tap the card to open the shop.

A line on the map counts the shops in the area. When you zoom far out, pins turn into dots. Tap to put the map back on your location. The Search services bar at the top opens the same search as the tab.

How do I filter by price or offers?

1. On the map, tap Sort and filter.
2. Drag Max price to set the most you want to pay. It reads Any price until you move it.
3. Turn on Has an offer to see only shops with a sale.
4. Pick a type under a category if you want one.
5. Tap Clear to remove your filters.

A number on the button shows how many filters are on. These filters are on the map only. A category screen has a row of types to pick from instead.

How far away are the shops I see?

The Services tab shows shops within 35 miles of you. The map shows the shops in the area you are looking at. Distance shows in miles on each card, but only when the app knows where you are.

Why do I see no distances?

The app does not know where you are. Turn on location for XO Bestie in your phone’s settings.

What does the heart on a shop card do?

It likes the shop. It does not follow it. To follow a shop, open its page and tap Follow. See understanding a service page. You need to sign in to like a shop.

Why does a shop say it is not active on XO Bestie yet?

Some businesses are listed before they join. Their card says This business is not active on XO Bestie yet. You cannot open or book them. If the business is yours, you may see Claim this business on the card. Tap it to set up your shop.

Why do I see No shops found in your area?

There is no shop within 35 miles of you yet. Open the map and move it to look further away, or check back later.

Why can’t I book a shop I found?

If the shop is in a country your account cannot buy from, the booking button is grey. See understanding a service page.
