A service page shows one service: its photos, price, options and the shop’s policies. A shop page shows everything a Service Provider offers. Tap Book on an option to start a booking.

What is on a service page?

  • Photos. Swipe to see them all.
  • Price. It reads From and an amount when the service has more than one option. Otherwise you see the price.
  • Description. Tap Show more to read all of it, when it is long.
  • Service options. Each option shows how long it takes and what it costs. If the shop has a sale, the old price is crossed out. Each option has its own Book button.
  • Booking policy. Whether the shop asks for a deposit, and how long before the visit you can cancel or reschedule. It only shows once the shop has set a policy.
  • No-show policy. This only shows when the shop asks for a deposit.
  • Seller. Tap this row to open the shop. It shows the shop’s rating, or New seller.

What does the booking policy say?

It tells you whether the shop asks for a deposit, and until when you can cancel or reschedule without losing it. If you do not show up, the shop keeps the deposit. See rescheduling or cancelling a booking and paying for a booking.

Why is the Book button grey?

It is your own service. You cannot book yourself.

What if a service is not available?

The shop may have taken it down. Go back to the shop to see what it offers now.

What is on a shop page?

The top has the shop’s cover photo. Below it are the shop’s name, city, distance and rating. Next to the name are a heart to like the shop and to share it. Below are the Follow and Message buttons. A button at the bottom, Start a Booking Now, opens the booking steps. There are five tabs:

  • Services. The price list. Tap a service to open its page.
  • Products. Products the shop sells.
  • About. Bio, From the business, Spoken languages, Address, Hours, Booking policy and No-show policy.
  • Portfolio. Photos of the shop’s work.
  • Reviews. What customers wrote about products they bought from the shop. Services and appointments cannot be reviewed.

What is the License on file badge?

A small badge next to a shop’s name means the shop has a license or credential on file with XO Bestie. Tap it to see Credentials on file: the type, the Number, who it was Issued by, and when it was Approved. The number is there so you can check it yourself.

A grey badge means the business has not sent a license or certification yet. Tap it to read more.

The badge does not mean XO Bestie checked or guarantees the credential.

What is the difference between Like, Follow and Message?

Can I share a service?

Not from its page. You can share the shop. Open the shop page and tap .
