Liking and commenting on posts

To like a post, tap the under it or double-tap the picture. To comment, tap , type your comment and tap . You need to be signed in. If you are not, the app asks you to sign in first.
How do I like a post?
- Open the Feed tab, or a creator’s post.
- Tap the under the post, or double-tap the picture.
A red, filled heart means you liked it. The number next to it shows how many people liked it. It is hidden when it is zero.
How do I remove my like?
Tap the red . Double-tapping the picture again does not remove a like. Only the heart does.
Who makes the like?
The profile you are using. Each profile can like a post once. You can like your own post.
Can I see who liked a post?
No. The app shows only the number of likes. Creators are not notified when someone likes or comments on their post.
How do I comment on a post?
- Tap under the post. The Comments sheet opens.
- Tap Add a comment and type. A comment can be up to 500 characters.
- Tap Send.
Your comment shows your handle and your profile type, so write as the profile you want to be seen as. The newest comments are at the top.
If your comment has a word XO Bestie does not allow, the app tells you which word. Remove it and try again.
How do I delete a comment?
- Open the Comments sheet.
- Tap Delete next to your comment.
- Tap Confirm. Tap anywhere else to cancel.
If a post is yours, you can delete any comment on it the same way. You cannot delete other people’s comments on posts that are not yours.
Can I reply to a comment?
No. Replies are not available. You can add your own comment, or send the person a message. See Messages and chats.
You also cannot edit a comment, like a comment or report a comment.
What does the red info icon next to my comment mean?
XO Bestie flagged and hid your comment. Other people cannot see it. Only you can. Tap to read why. To fix it, delete the comment and write it again without what was flagged. See Why was my content flagged?.
