XO Bestie checks what you add, like listings, services, posts, comments, reviews and your profile. If something breaks the rules, it can be hidden until you fix it.

What does “flagged” mean?

It was hidden because it may break our rules. Others cannot see it until it is fixed.

How will I know something was flagged?

You get a notification, and you see a red Flagged label or a red icon on it. Tap it to see why, and how to fix it.

How do I fix a flagged listing or service?

  1. Open the flagged listing or service from the notification, or find it in your list of items.
  2. Tap the red Flagged label.
  3. Read the reason.
  4. Edit what was flagged. For a listing, that is the brand name, title, description or photos. For a service, it is the title, description or photos.
  5. Save your changes.

Once your changes pass the check, it goes back on sale by itself.

How do I fix a flagged post?

Open the sheet from the flagged tile on your profile. Then:

  • Tap Edit post and change the caption. The post comes back by itself once it checks clean.
  • If a photo or video was flagged, it cannot be changed. Tap Delete post, then Confirm. Post it again without that photo or video.

How do I fix a flagged comment?

Delete the comment and write a new one without what was flagged. A comment cannot be edited. Others do not see a flagged comment.

How do I fix a flagged review?

Edit your review to take out what was flagged. When it checks clean, your words show again. Others still see your stars.

How do I fix a flagged profile?

The sheet lists each part that is hidden. Change that part: your name, bio, profile photo or banner. It shows again once it passes the check.

A flagged portfolio photo cannot be changed. Take it out of your portfolio.

Can I appeal?

If you think it is a mistake, contact us. See Contacting XO Bestie Support.
