Creating on XO Bestie
On this page
A Creator profile lets you post photos and videos that shoppers can shop from. You tag your own products, your own services, or shoppable links from your affiliate networks. XO Bestie does not charge to post.
What can I do with a Creator profile?
- Post photos and videos, up to 12 in one post. See Creating a post.
- Tag things shoppers can tap. A post tags one kind of thing, up to 6. See Tagging products, services and shoppable links in a post.
- Save shoppable links from your affiliate networks. See Adding and managing shoppable links.
- Sell your own products. See Selling your own products as a Creator.
- See how your posts do. See Content performance.
- Share your page at your own link. See Your Creator profile page.
How do creators earn?
There are three ways.
- Selling your own products. When a shopper buys a product you listed, you earn the sale like any other seller.
- Shoppable links. Your affiliate network, such as Amazon, LTK or Rakuten, pays you directly under its own terms. See How shoppable links earn.
- The creator program. While XO Bestie runs one, you can join it and earn monthly rewards. See The creator program.
XO Bestie does not pay a commission on posts. Tagging something in a post does not earn money from XO Bestie by itself.
How do I add a Creator profile?
You can pick Creator when you sign up. If you already have an account, add the profile like this.
In the appMenuSwitch RoleCreatorCreate- Tap Menu at the top left.
- Tap Switch Role.
- Find Creator and tap Create.
- Tap Continue.
- Add a profile picture, a Display Name, a Profile Name and a bio.
- Tap Finish.
Nothing is created until you tap Finish. One account can hold several profiles. You switch between them in Switch Role. Read more in How to create a new role.
Do I need to set up shipping or payouts before I post?
No. Posting needs only that you are signed in. You do need a ship-from address, a return policy and a payout account before you add a product to sell. See Before you can sell.
Can I post from my other profiles?
No. The Post button in the middle of the bottom bar shows only while your Creator profile is active. On your other profiles, that button reads Sell, or POS on a Service Provider profile. Switch to your Creator profile to post.
