Browsing Preloved and Shops

Preloved shows pre-loved items. Shops shows new items from boutiques. Both home screens work the same way. Scroll down to see the stories row, the categories, the curated rows and the full grid.

What is on the home screen?

From top to bottom:

• Stories row. Only shown when you are signed in. It starts with Me, which opens your own profile. Next come the profiles you follow that added something in the last 2 days.
• Followers, Following and Wish List. Also only when you are signed in. The first two open your lists. Wish List has a and opens your saved items.
• Banners.
• Categories. A row of circles. Tap one to browse that category.
• Curated rows. Rows of items picked for you to look at. See below.
• Discover more. The whole tab as a grid. Tap Load more to see more.

Why do I only see some items?

Preloved shows only pre-loved items, and Shops shows only new items from boutiques.

What are the rows, and what does See all do?

Each row shows items you can scroll sideways. Tap See all next to a row title to open the whole list as a grid. Tap Load more at the bottom for more items.

The rows are:

• Just in. The newest items.
• Picked for you. Items that match your style choices.
• Popular right now. The items people are most interested in.
• Featured Fashion, Featured Beauty & Wellness and Featured Home & Living.
• Trending. Items more people are looking at this week.
• Recently viewed. The items you opened before. Only shown when you are signed in.

Why is there no Picked for you row?

It needs your style choices, and you need to be signed in. See style preferences and the style quiz.

Why did someone leave my stories row?

The row only shows people you follow who added something in the last 2 days.

How do I browse a category?

1. Open Preloved or Shops.
2. Find the Categories row.
3. Tap a category.
4. Tap a chip such as All or a sub-category to narrow the list.
5. Tap Load more to see more items.

Can I filter a category by price, size or brand?

No. A category only has sub-category chips. To use price bands and sorting, use search. See searching for items.

What is on a product card?

Each card shows a photo, the price and a rating. Tap the card to open the listing. See understanding a listing.

• Sale, sometimes with a percent. The seller has a sale on this item. The old price is struck through.
• Free shipping. You pay nothing for shipping.
• Sold or Sold out. Nothing is left. The photo is dimmed.
• Tap it to save the item. See saving items to your wish list.
• Tap it to add the item to your bag. If you need to pick a size or color, it opens the listing.

What is the difference between Sold and Sold out?

Sold means the item has been bought. Sold out means none are left right now.

I tapped the bag and nothing seemed to happen. Why?

Check the number on at the top of the screen. If the item has several sizes or colors, the card opens the listing instead of adding it.
