Style Preferences and the style quiz

Style Preferences is where you tell XO Bestie your sizes, styles and brands. Your saved styles decide what shows in the Picked for you row. Nothing in it is required.

Where do I find Style Preferences?

1. Tap Menu.
2. Make sure you are on your Bestie profile. Style Preferences is only in Bestie Settings.
3. Tap Style Preferences.

Boutique, Creator and Service Provider profiles do not have this row. What you save belongs to your account, not to one profile.

What is on the Size Details tab?

The Size Details tab has these sections. There are no boxes for top or jeans sizes.

• Topwear: height, weight, Bust band and Cup
• Bottomwear: Waist size and Hip size
• Body shape
• Footwear: Shoe size

The units follow your region. Height and weight show the allowed range under the box. The others are lists you pick from.

How does body shape work?

Pick your bust band, cup, waist and hip, and the app works out a body shape for you. If it is wrong, pick another one. To go back to the worked-out shape, tap Reset to and the shape name.

What is on the Preferences tab?

The Preferences tab lets you pick:

• Fashion styles
• Fashion color tones
• Makeup styles
• Makeup color tones
• Brands

Color tones are suggested from the styles you pick, until you change them yourself. For brands, tap the ones you shop, or search by name.

How do I save my choices?

1. Fill in what you like. Leave the rest empty.
2. Tap Save at the bottom of the tab.

Each tab has its own Save. Save stays grey until you change something.

Do I have to fill it in?

No. Fill in as much or as little as you like.

Your saved fashion and makeup styles decide what the Picked for you row on Preloved and Shops shows: fashion, beauty, or both.

How does the style quiz work?

The quiz picks styles and colors for you from your answers.

1. Open Style Preferences, then the Preferences tab.
2. Tap Take the style quiz.
3. Answer the 6 style questions. You can pick more than one answer. You need at least one answer to tap Next.
4. After the last question, tap See my styles.
5. When asked Want your colors too?, tap Yes, analyse my colors to answer 4 more questions, or Not now to skip them.
6. Read your report. Untick any style you do not want.
7. Tap Save to my preferences.

To go back a step, use the back button. On the report, tap Change my answers to go back to the first question. If you skipped the color questions, tap Add my color analysis to answer them.

Will the quiz erase what I picked myself?

It replaces the styles and color tones it covers. Your brands and your sizes stay as they are. Save to my preferences needs at least one style kept, and it saves right away.
