Shopping on XO Bestie: start here

You shop in two places: Preloved for pre-loved items and Shops for new items from boutiques. You can look around without an account. You need to sign in to buy, save an item, or follow someone.

Where do I find things to buy?

• Preloved shows pre-loved items from Bestie profiles.
• Shops shows new items from Boutique profiles.

Each tab has its own home screen, its own categories and its own search. Search only looks in the tab you started from.

Items from creators and service providers are not in these two tabs. You find them on the creator’s or provider’s own page.

Do I need an account to browse?

No. Anyone can browse, search and open a listing. You need to be signed in to:

• buy something
• save an item with the heart
• follow a seller

Signed-out visitors who tap one of these are asked to sign in first. See signing in and out.

Can any profile buy?

Yes. A Bestie profile, a Boutique, a Creator and a Service Provider can all shop. Your bag and your wish list belong to your account, so they are the same on every profile. Your purchases are kept together too. See choosing a profile.

How do I get from finding an item to owning it?

1. Find itBrowse a tab, a category or the search bar
2. Open the listingCheck the photos, price, shipping and returns
3. Add to CartOr tap Buy Now to skip the bag
4. Check outChoose your address and card, then Place order
5. Track itFind it in Purchases

1. Find an item. Read browsing Preloved and Shops or searching for items.
2. Open the listing and read it. See understanding a listing.
3. Tap Add to Cart, or tap Buy Now to go straight to checkout with just that item.
4. Open Your bag to review what you picked. See your bag.
5. Tap Continue to checkout, then Place order. See checking out.
6. Follow your order in Purchases. See how can I check the status of my order.

Does adding something to my bag keep it for me?

No. Nothing is reserved while it sits in your bag or on your wish list. If someone else pays for it first, it is gone. Opening checkout holds your items for 10 minutes while you pay.

How do I save something for later?

Tap the on the item. See saving items to your wish list.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes, in your bag. See sales, discount codes and Bestie credit.

What if I have a question about an item?

Open the seller’s page from the listing and send them a message. See how to contact a seller.
