Paying with a card: adding and managing cards

You pay on XO Bestie with a credit or debit card. Cards are the only way to pay. You can save more than one card and choose which one is your default.

How do I add a card?

1. Tap Menu.
2. Tap Global Settings.
3. Tap Wallet.
4. Tap the Payment Methods tab.
5. Tap Add a new payment method.
6. Enter your card details in the form that opens.
7. Tap Save card.

You can also add a card while you check out. Tap + Add new under Pay with. It opens the same card form. See Checking out.

Which cards can I use?

Credit and debit cards. The app shows these card names: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay and Eftpos.

You cannot pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, a bank transfer, buy-now-pay-later or a gift card.

How do I pick my default card?

Your default card is the one used for new purchases. You can pick a different card at checkout.

1. Open Payment Methods in your Wallet.
2. Find the card you want.
3. Tap Make default under it.

The default card shows a Default badge.

How do I remove a card?

1. Open Payment Methods in your Wallet.
2. Tap Remove under the card.
3. Tap Confirm. The card is removed.

If you change your mind, tap anywhere else and the card stays.

Why can’t I remove my only card?

The app keeps at least one card on your account once you have added one. Remove only appears when you have more than one card. To replace your only card, add the new card first. Then remove the old one.

What if my card has expired?

An expired card shows Expired and cannot be used. Add a new card and make it your default.

Do I need a payout account to pay?

No. You do not need to connect a bank to buy. A saved card is all you need. A payout account is only for people who sell. See Setting up how you get paid.

Do my cards work for every profile?

Yes. Cards belong to your account, not to one profile. The same cards work for purchases and bookings on every profile you hold.

Is my card information safe?

Your card details go from the card form straight to Stripe, our payment partner. XO Bestie does not store your full card number. The app shows only the card name, the last four digits and the expiry date.
