Your in-store return policy
On this page
Your in-store return policy sets how long a customer can bring back products they bought and picked up in your store. You choose Returns not accepted, 7 days, 15 days or 30 days. If you have not chosen, the app uses 15 days.
In the appMenuShop SettingsReturn PolicyYou need the Service Provider profile. This is a different screen from the return policy that Bestie and Boutique sellers use for parcels.
How do I set it?
- Open Return Policy.
- Under Returns, choose one:
- Returns not accepted: Everything bought here is final.
- 7 days
- 15 days · Default
- 30 days
- Tap Set policy. After you have set it once, the button reads Save.
Each choice shows what it means. For example, a customer can bring a product back for 15 days after they buy it.
What does the policy cover?
It covers products sold and collected in your store. It decides how long you can refund them. The same window applies when you use Process a refund on a finished appointment.
How do I refund a product?
Open the sale from Sales, then use the Refund button on the line. If the window has closed or you do not accept returns, the app tells you. See Sales: settled bookings and in-store sales and Finishing, rescheduling or cancelling an appointment.
Is this the same as my booking policy?
No. Your booking policy covers deposits and cancellations. See Setting your booking policy.
