The Service Provider profile is for beauty and wellness professionals who take bookings. It gives you a shop page, a booking calendar, a list of your services, staff, and a till to take cards in person. Nothing you sell is shipped. It costs nothing to set up.

Who is the Service Provider profile for?

It is for freelancers, salon owners and other beauty and wellness businesses. To get one when you sign up, choose Beauty Pro.

You can hold other profiles on the same account, such as a Bestie profile. You switch between them from the menu. See how to create a new role and choosing a profile.

What do I get with a Service Provider profile?

Does anything ship?

No. A Service Provider never ships. Customers book your services, and they collect any products from you at the appointment.

Do I need a license to start?

No. Adding a license is optional. When you add one, customers can tap the badge next to your name to see it, under Credentials on file. XO Bestie does not verify or guarantee the licenses you add.

What does it cost?

It is free to set up. XO Bestie takes a fee on each booking and each sale at your till. When you add a service, a line called What you earn shows what is left after fees for each length and price. See the XO Bestie fee.

What do I set up first?

Before you can add a service, the app asks you to finish four steps:

  1. Add your business addressWhere customers come to you, and how they find you nearby
  2. Set your booking policyThe deposit you take and when it stops being refundable
  3. Set your business hoursThe days and times you are open
  4. Set how you get paidWhere your money is sent after a sale
  1. Add your Business Address. See setting your address.
  2. Set your booking policy.
  3. Set your business hours.
  4. Set up how you get paid. See getting paid.
  5. Add your staff.
  6. Add your first service in the Service Catalogue.

Staff is not part of the list the app checks. But customers can only book a time when someone on your team is working. To use the till you also need a card reader set up. See before you can sell.
