Log in and Security lists the devices you have signed in on. If you see one you do not know, tap Sign out everywhere, then change your password.

Where do I see my devices?

In the appMenuGlobal SettingsLog in and SecurityDevices
  1. Tap Menu and open Global Settings.
  2. Tap Log in and Security.
  3. Scroll to Devices.

Each row shows the kind of device: iPhone, iPad, Android, Browser or Unknown device. Your own device says This device. Under the name you see the system version and a rough place. If we do not know it, it says Unknown.

The list shows devices that have passed the new-device code. It is not every time you signed in. The place is a rough guess, and a VPN can show the wrong city.

What does Sign out everywhere do?

It signs you out on every device, including the one you are holding. It also removes every device from the list. Each one must use a new emailed code the next time you sign in. Push notifications stop on all your phones.

It does not change your password. Change that too.

  1. In Devices, tap Sign out everywhere.
  2. Sign in again.
  3. Change your password. See Changing your password.

I see a device I do not know

Tap Sign out everywhere, sign in, then change your password.

I lost my phone

Use another device or a browser. Sign in, tap Sign out everywhere, then change your password.

Can I remove or rename one device?

No. You can only sign out everywhere.

Why is a device still listed after I signed out on it?

The list shows remembered devices. Signing out on one device does not remove it. Only Sign out everywhere clears the list.

Which security emails and notices will I get?

  • A new device signs in: an email with the time, device and place, and a bell notice, A new sign-in on that device.
  • Your password changes or is reset: an email and the bell notice Your password was changed.
  • Your email changes: an email to the old address and the bell notice Your account details changed.
  • Your phone number or user ID changes: the bell notice Your account details changed.
  • Your account is closed: an email to say it is closing.
  • Your account is suspended: an email.

You cannot turn these off. In notification settings they appear as Account and security, marked Always on. See Notification settings.
