Unpublishing a listing
On this page
To hide a listing, tap Unpublish. It goes to your Unpublished tab and shoppers no longer see it. Tap Publish to put it back. The app has no delete button, so this is how you take a listing down.
In the appMenuBestie SettingsMy ClosetUnpublishHow do I unpublish a listing?
- Tap Menu.
- Tap your profile’s settings, then open your listings:
- Bestie profile: My Closet
- Boutique: My Inventory
- Creator: My Products
- Service Provider: My Products
- On the Published tab, find the listing.
- Tap Unpublish.
It happens right away. The app does not ask you to confirm. You can also tap Unpublish on your own listing’s page.
How do I publish it again?
- Open the same screen and go to the Unpublished tab.
- Find the listing and tap Publish.
The tabs show how many listings are in each, for example Published and Unpublished with a number.
What happens to an unpublished listing?
Shoppers no longer see it. It also leaves shoppers’ wish lists until you publish it again. Your listing stays in your Unpublished tab, and you can edit it there.
Can I delete a listing?
No. The app has no delete button and no archive. Use Unpublish to take a listing down.
Why did my sold item leave the Published tab?
An item that sold and had only one unit leaves Published by itself. It moves to your Unpublished tab and shows Sold. It has no Edit or Publish buttons. A listing with several units that has sold out shows Sold out. It stays where it is, and you can still unpublish it.
Why does my listing say Flagged and not let me publish?
XO Bestie checks listings after you post or edit them. If something is flagged, the listing is hidden and shows a Flagged label on its photo. You cannot publish it until you fix the problem.
- Tap the Flagged label to read why.
- Tap Edit and change the part that was flagged. This can be the brand name, title, description or photos.
- Tap Save changes.
When your changes pass the check, the listing goes back on sale by itself. See also Why was my content flagged?.
