You set one return policy. It shows on every listing you post, and you need it before you can list anything. It applies to your Bestie profile, Boutique and Creator profile together.

In the appMenuBestie SettingsReturn Policy

For a Boutique, open Boutique Settings. For a Creator, open Creator Settings. You can also reach it from the Before you can sell panel, in the step Set your return policy.

How do I set my return policy?

  1. Tap Menu.
  2. Tap your profile’s settings, then Return Policy.
  3. Under Returns, choose one:
    • Returns not accepted
    • Accepted within 14 days of delivery
    • Accepted within 30 days of delivery
  4. If you accept returns, choose Who pays return shipping:
    • Free returns (Recommended): you pay return shipping.
    • The customer pays return shipping
  5. Tap Set policy. After the first time, the button says Save.

Nothing is chosen for you. The button stays off until you have answered.

What do the choices mean?

  • Returns not accepted: all sales are final. Customers see this before they buy.
  • 14 days: customers have two weeks from delivery to return an item.
  • 30 days: customers have a month. The app says this reassures customers, so it tends to sell better.
  • Free returns: you pay return shipping. The app says shoppers buy more freely when a return costs them nothing.
  • The customer pays return shipping: it costs you nothing when an item comes back.

There are no other time windows, and no restocking fee.

Where do customers see my policy?

On every listing you post. When someone buys, the policy at that time is fixed onto their order.

If I change my policy, do past orders change?

No. An order keeps the terms it was bought under. Changing your policy does not change terms a customer already bought under.

Can I set a different policy for one listing?

No. You have one policy for all your listings. You also cannot set a different policy for each profile. If you change it, it changes for your Bestie profile, Boutique and Creator profile.

Can I set a cancellation policy?

No. The Return Policy screen says any order can be cancelled for a full refund before a shipping label is attached to it. This applies to every seller and is not something you set.

When do I get paid if I accept no returns?

Your payout is released after the return window closes. If you choose Returns not accepted, it is released 7 days after delivery. See When do I get paid?.

What about a Service Provider?

A Service Provider does not use this screen. See Setting your booking policy for bookings and In-store return policy for products sold at your shop.
